"Do I have to be at home during the clean?"

We recommend and prefer that you are there for at least the first booking. This allows you to meet with your cleaner and to provide them with any special instructions regarding the cleaning.
Thereafter, if you are unable to be present at future cleans, please contact us advising where your cleaner can locate the key to gain entry.

v

"Do I have to provide the cleaning materials?"

Home Spartans provide and use the very best premium eco-friendly cleaning products. Products that are safe for you and the environment. Your cleaner will also arrive with changeable mop & head, cloths, wipes etc. In the interests of avoiding cross contamination of any possible allergens between properties, we ask that homeowners provide their own Vacuum Hoover. However, If you need this provided, let us know and we’ll take care of it.

v

"What is included in a home clean?"

Our standard service includes everything for a clean home. For a full breakdown of what to expect, visit HERE

Extras and add-ons, such as interior window cleaning, linen change, fridge clean etc can be added when making your booking.

New customers often choose to initially book a longer intensive clean first time around, then follow this up with a standard weekly or fortnightly clean thereafter.

v

"How do I pay for my clean?"

Payments are made online via our card payment merchant, Stripe. We do not hold or have access to any sensitive or financial information. Please contact us if you would prefer to use an alternative payment method and we’ll make it happen.

v

"What happens if a cleaner needs more or less time?"

Your cleaner is available for the agreed period of your booking. For scheduling purposes, please notify us of any extra cleaning instructions or add-ons you require during the booking process. Your cleaner may have another booking to fulfill following yours, so additional tasks should be agreed beforehand. Should the cleaner take more or less time then we will happily adjust your invoice, subject to approval and confirmation by the cleaner. Please note that all bookings are subject to a 2hrs minimum.

v

"Who are the cleaners?"

Our cleaners are English speaking, have been vetted, interviewed in person and are insured. We only work with the most dedicated professionals, with exceptional standards, that we’d be happy to have in our own homes.  We also ask that our clients use our rating system, which lets us know you are 100% happy with the service you are receiving from your cleaner.

v

"What is the cancellation policy?"

We’re flexible, but to support our cleaners, we have to play by some rules. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to our customers, whilst also protecting the workers, where rescheduling or canceling a booking can cause them to lose valuable work. Therefore, we operate a simple but fair policy. Fees apply for cancelled or rescheduled bookings within 24hrs of your booked date and time (but more then 3hrs). See below.

v

"How can I apply to be a Home Spartan?"

We’re always on the lookout for the right people. If you have exceptional standards, are reliable, dedicated, a car owner with a checkable background, then we’d love to hear from you!  Please Contact Us and we’ll be in touch to arrange an interview.

We're Clean & Green! (But what does that mean?)

Our position is if there is an equally effective eco-friendly and cruelty-free cleaning product – why not use it? Toxic cleaning chemicals can have a negative effect on your health. They work their way back into the environment, which is bad news for nature, and are tested on animals. The problems to both humans and nature that these chemicals can cause are becoming more and more apparent. That’s why we always use premium, eco-friendly brands as our go to cleaning solutions, that are safe for you and the planet.

We’re also pragmatic enough to acknowledge that chemical cleaning does have its place. In extreme scenarios which warrant equally extreme measures,  and where there is no alternative, we employ the use of them, but those situations are the exception rather than the rule and are absolutely unnecessary in typical domestic cleaning.
